Don't bring anything, they'll call you the "pet" of the place. Hold your grounds, stay out of drama, and don't talk behind people's back. Staff respect you more, if you are not opinionated.
Maybe, he caused the drama?

I second what he says though. Dont get involved. Just brings you down to their level if you bring something.

Unless it is a holiday.

Its really 50/50 on what you decided to do.

Yeah if you bring something in for your coworkers they might call you the "pet" of the place but whats more imprtant?

A. Brining in food hoping to difuse the issue at hand and having your manager possibly realize it was you that helped diffuse it

or

B. Not doing anything and let the drama continue

In my experience people that take action to help difuse an issue stand out more ( in a good way ) then the people creating the drama. It shows your leadership skills IMO.
The correct person who needs to deal with these issues, is the manager, who's job is to oversees his employees. If the manager is caught up in the act, the supervisor, then lead supervisor.

As an employee of that company, his/her duties is to do his/her work, not counseling, or moderate.

Once the name "pet" is labeled on you, people will always talk %^&*( about you. From a person who was neutral, trying to be superman and solve the problems, accomplish nothing, with 0 gratitude, and gets a negative label.

In short, leave it alone. let the right person deal with it.
