hi all,

Its been awhile since I've been on the boards...or on a group run...

I did the 818 super bowl run last year with at least a few of you. I've been living up on Saddle Peak Road for the past six months tearing up Stunt Road most every morning and evening.

Gonna try to hook up with you all at some point along your run, though I'm not sure where.

Looks like you've got a pretty good run planned. I was just down Tuna Canyon this afternoon and its in great shape. It was just repaved a few months ago and is freshly painted. The fun really begins when its turns into one way road south about a mile south of Saddle Peak. For the next four miles or so the road is quite narrow and twisty, but in perfect shape. The only thing to hold you back is your natural fear of flying off one the steep ledges. A beautiful drive!!!

If I could make one suggestion to your run, rather than take Mulholland all the way up to Stunt, you might want to take Mulholland to Malibu Canyon and turn right and go south about 1 mile or so to Piuma Road. Piuma is the only stop light between Mulholland and Pepperdine. Piuma will take you up and over the that big ridge you see driving down Malibu Canyon. IMHO, Piuma is one of the best roads around for hi revving the "S". Not to mention lots of ocean views. Take Piuma to Schurren Road which will take you back up to Stunt / Saddle Peak at the top of Stunt. Piuma trumps Stunt big time!!

Hope to catch up with on Sunday...

ty

going anywhere afterwards?....Dukes??

I might be in myself if I can get my a** up that early tomorrow. I finally got my mugen headers installed today along with kekoa so I'm all ready to stretch out the legs.

Duc, thanks again for setting that up with Ricardo. I was really happy with the quality of work. I also had the whiteline brace installed and man, what a difference on the choppy stuff. It really makes the car a lot more stable in my opinion. Mugen header and Muz's Whiteline x-brace (two great buys)

Clutch, I'm glad to hear you might make it! I'm definitely putting in my vote for amending the route to your suggestion, but only if the organizer/mapper agrees....
