[QUOTE=StinkyTofu,Apr 15 2006, 11:13 AM]Richard, thats interesting you're running more camber in the front than you are in the rear.

I made my own version of a Smart Strings (http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/smart1.htm) string box. Also have Smart Camber tool. Doing an alignment at home takes a lot of time and patience, but at least you know it's done to your specs, and you can check it or modify it at will for no additional $. Very involved though, but had to learn because of the racecar (impractical to trailer it to a shop everytime and the techs down here never can get it right (I am too far from West End)).

Either car can take from a couple hours to several hours, depending on how much needs done. It helps that I have the tire positions marked on my garage floor, with tile shims already known to make the car level, and +/- 20* lines permanently marked on the floor for caster measurement. First time took a weekend on and off to do as I had to create a lot of custom solutions (like the string box) to many steps.

Yeah Darin is pretty booked up. I had to wait 3 weeks for my alignment. Well worth the wait. True professional.

another 100% satisfied customer of Darin and West End Alignment. I thought my car felt awesome after lowering it, but it feels even better now! Car handles awesome(got the aggressive street settings) and steering doesn't feel heavy like it did after i lowered it. Let me drive it to see how it felt and when I told him it felt like it was slightly pulling to the right, he drove it with me in the car and told me that the steering wheel was off center a hair. Came back, fixed the problem real quick, and everything was

Great guy...catered my setup according to my driving style and even told me that the front tires are wearing on the inside(even though i couldn't tell). He recommended i get my tires switched and remounted. Even gave me tips on installing the Skunk2 adjustable A-arms and control arms in my brother's EG.

Darin and West End Alignment are all that and a bag of chips
