if he used insurance wouldn't he have to pay the deductible which for most is 500 what would be the point soft tops range from 600-900 dollars

Thanks for the sympathy guys. I did a search for "slashed" on s2ki and it looks like I'm just one of many victims.

So, for the time being, is duct tape a good solution? And I might go the hardtop route, but how would that work with insurance? Won't I have to pay for a hardtop out of pocket?
