Weekend job ideas?
this is a depressing time
So, I have been doing representation work with SONY for 4 1/2 years now.
It turns out that after my many years of hard work (and 74 other employees) we have no jobs
Although, this was my weekend job, and all the money I made there went directly into my bank for saving purposes. It hurts to not even be given the respect of a phone call, just an email
So, I guess I need to work on my resume now. Also, look for another source of extra income
Does anyone have any ideas for me? Or, What I can do on the weekends to earn some extra cash?
being laid off is definitely depressing it makes you feel non important, as if you never meant anything to the higher ups
Any ideas will be appreciated! Or if you know anyone hiring, please let me know!!
Thank you

Entities like that only exist as entities. Look at Disney.
On the other hand. I hope you can find a job soon. I usually recommend the service industry route, but some people probably have some better ideas.
I wish the best for you and your family.

Don't worry.... you are in better shape than alot others who have been laid off because like you posted you have been saving for a rainy day like this....
Get your resume together and get it out there!!! If you haven't started yet.. try to minimize unnecessary expenses!! You guys will be fine!!!

Thanks Guys...
I appreciate the kind words
You are right, at least it is not the needed income that I lost, just the extra money I was making on the side.
Damn corporations You mean nothing Oh well.. Like mentioned above, nothing is forever. Gotta get back on the horse if you fall.
I'm just not used to having extra time on my hands on the weekends. I have worked 7 days a work for what feels like forever. I just like to keep busy
