Wawanesa?
Hey guys,
I've heard some good stuff about Wawanesa. I applied for a quote the other night and I was blown away today by what they quoted me. $95/mo for the same coverage I have now. I pay like $140/mo!!
A friend of mine that lives up the street from me recently got into a crash up our street and they were excellent about the claim and paid him about 2x what his car was worth AND paid out $3k in medical expenses. :|
So my question is, does anyone have experience with them? I'm thinking about switching to them right away so it'd be helpful if others could chime in. Thanks.

wawanesa is a canadian based company that is merging into the us market, they're currently available in CA and Oregon
they're a good company ..but you get what you pay for
but then again..im not bias
no honestly, they offer great rates..but they also have alot of complaints about dropping clients for any types of accidents/tickets

i've had mercury for a very long time and as long as i went to one of their shops, i got my car done very well and very quickly without a lot of hassle. My civic got stolen and I got like 20% above market price when they paid it off. My rates have consistently gone down over the years as I've gotten older and had less claims.
I'll have to look into this wawanesa if people are comparing it to mercury though.

im with them and they're company is in san diego. I haven't given them any problems so can't really rate their service. They seem very serious about their clients though, they did a thorough check on my driving record before they would sell me the insurance.
