I had this problem after a track event for weeks. I ended up changing the pads and rotors on the car, cleaned the area, and the problem stopped. It didn't occur to me that changing the pads and rotors would solve the problem, but it did.
EDIT: I should mention that the light was always on after start up. Annoyed the hell out of me.
Hope that helps!

Did anyone ever figure out what this was?
Sorry to bring back an old thread but I used the search engine and this is one that came up. Mine just came on today and I wanted to see if I can see what it was before bringing it to the dealer. I also have Bilstein coil-overs, so I don't know if that will void any warranty work for this VSA issue.
I've had the suspension on for 6 or 7 months now and it only turned on now. So I'm assuming it could be a sensor problem?!?!?... not sure.
Thanks,
Andre

It's HONDA's job to prove why the part failing is not working DUE to your modded part. They must prove that its a direct cause of the issue. OTHERWISE they must still warranty it.

Actually, for this situation I never figured it out. However it happened a few months ago again and the CEL came on. It turns out I actually had a misfire in the #1 cylinder....got it all cleared away though.
GL with your situation.

Could be a number of things. If you didn't modify anything on the car that would effect VSA then just take your car into the dealer for a reset. You prob hit a steep dip, curb or something to upset the system causing a permanent DTC if this is the case.
A single or a combination modifications that stiffen suspension, frame, out of spec alignment, harsh engine vibration(misfire),brake lines, pads, rotors, big rims, loose lugs,or even if you hosed down you engine bay with excessive water can cause your VSA to detect a fault that will set off a permanent DTC.

As far as the alignment, I had the car aligned 3 weeks after installation, which is the general amount of time to allow the suspension to settle in.
I guess we'll see what happens as more time passes.
