without going to far... me and the +1 took a little vacation to Catalina Island.... We stayed Mon-Thur.... by weds. people around there new who we were and very friendly... we rented beach cruisers to get around... went kayaking one day, bike riding another, glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling.... and best thing about it its so affordable....

Australia I like! Might do it again.

Catalina Island might make for a nice little getaway. I think we're thinking a 2-3 wk deal, so I'm thinking we can get a bit farther away. Anyone do any vacations in So or Central America?

Peru might be fun....

Also, to the OP, I've heard that Alaskan cruises are beautiful if done during the summer months.
