USC Homecoming Tailgate - all are invited
Hey all you Trojans out there. If you're going to Homecoming this Sat. I'm inviting all of you to stop by and tailgate with me and a ton of my friends. There will be plenty of food and drinks (especially beer).
We'll be tailgating in front of the Hancock building this time, on the steps. That's the building that's right next to the fountain across from Tommy Trojan. We'll be getting there around 1:00 p.m. Plenty of time before the game to have a good time.
So, who's going to the game - Back-cracker, Trojan Horse, Magician, Raptor.....others?????

Mark-
I'll be there. I'll probably be moving pretty slowly because of my ankle, which doesn't seem to be improving. Is the Hancock Building (I should know this) catty corner across the plaza from Bovard (or west across the mall from the old Student Union)?

I suggest you PM magician, in case he's been to busy to visit the board, as I have been. His group usually meets in front of Bovard.
Like I said earlier (somewhere), I'll be at another function at the parking lot where the old Trojan Barrel was, just north of Marguerita Jones (which has become a real dump). We'll come around 2. My friend needs to hit the bookstore.
By the way, that parking lot is great. Easy in and out and good for a quick getaway if the game is a blowout, as our recent games have been, and you want to leave a couple of minutes early.

Anyone going to the UCLA game? I've got tickets (although they're in Bruin territory...)
Only 9 days until the big game. I think it's time for the trash talking to begin.

And yes, I can afford the car even though I went to a

George,
Actually, the fountain is catty corner from Tommy. The Hancock building is right next to the fountain and is actually right in front of the old student union.
Go to http://www.usc.edu/visit/upc/map/ and check out the map. The Hancock building is AHF and is located right across Trousdale Parkway from the Student Union.
I'll look for you around 2:00.
I sent Magician a PM and was just about to send you one too, before I noticed you replied to my post. See you on Sat.

I got your PM, and the answer is, "Yes, we'll be there!" I need to check with Alan and Julie about the time, but I'd guess sometime between 1:00 and 2:00.
I just hope that I don't jinx the Trojans by arriving to the game on time.
Lest you worry, there's a possibility that I won't even make the Notre Dame game; I may have a gig that evening.

See you there Bill. We'll be in a different spot. Unfortunately, the new spot isn't the best for viewing the band when it passes by. You have my cellphone number, so call me when you get there.
Anyone else coming down need my number??? Just PM me.
I won't even be near the Coliseum for Notre Dame. I'll be in Reno. At least I can bet on the game. Will probably be watching it at one of the sportsbooks.
My friend that works at SC told me that this looks like a sellout. Should be pretty packed.

I will be playing with the Marching Band this week as they invite some of us old farts back for Homecoming. Unfortunately the Trombones will be doing half-time with the current band but I will still be marching over to the Coliseum with them and also playing in the post-game concert. Come give me beer on the way over! I've never made the march over to the Coliseum sober and I don't want to start now!

"The LORD said to Moses,
'Make two silver trumpets; of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation... And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. The trumpets shall be to you for a perpetual statute throughout your generations. And when you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies. On the day of your gladness also, and at your appointed feasts, and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets...; they shall serve you for remembrance before your God...'"
-- Numbers 10:1-2, 8-10
P.S. God didn't say anything to Moses about trombones. Or woodwinds.
F%^K the scum devils.
