so what if we give up 30 points? we'll just score 70 again.

but seriously... loosing sartz for a few games in tough.. and terrell thomas for the year is not good...

but, there's a reason why we are so good on offense... top recruits. our younger D guys just havent gotten the chance to shine (cuz of cody, patterson, groots, etc..) they will step it up.

I believe the same concept was the issue last year, with a good number of new faces on Defense... a good game against a fairly good team like Oregon can step up their game. I don't know if they'll even score 30 on the trojans still. IMO. THey might give up a few touchdowns early though, and then settle down like the first two games.

Pete says they'll have to grow the defense while relying on an excellent offense. I'm more worried about Arizona State the following week. They're averaging something like 770 yards per game.
