Some people told me it won't work with cingular. But my gf wants a sidekick but i can only hook her up with cingular right now 25 bucks a month with 2500 minutes

 

it should work but probably but only thing u prob can do is text, call, and play games.

 

Last time i check you couldn't use the sidekick duce with cingular. Only as a phone and text..but the actually SIDEKICK PLAN needs to be purchased from t-mobile.. So i doubt the sidekick 3 can be used to its full capabilities..with cingular.

 

yeah i was just going to use aim and phone with it. I don't care about other features. Im getting sidekick 2 by the way

 

I'm selling a slightly used sidekick 2 if your still looking for one. It can only be used to call and text with cingular. To use everything else, you need the data plan from t mobile.

dang that sucks, i would be happy if aim and phone worked but i guess i have to find a cingular phone now. Anyone recommend me a nice phone that would be good for aim and internet, without being a PDA like treos blackberry etc? Keep in mind its for my gf. And im going to get it on ebay probably around 200 or less, she breaks too many things to buy anything expensive for her. I saw the Samsung D307 it looks pretty sweet, but after showing it to her she doesn't like it.
