How much are you guys getting paid for all these debates? If this much energy were spent on making money and business ideas/the world would be a better place and you wouldnt even worry who won an argument on S2KI lol

but at the same time most ppl are guilty of searching for a cheaper deal, if there wasnt ppl looking for cheap labor, then this wouldnt be an issue, alot of these homes in so cal in some way had cheap labor involved in the process,

I don't see it as a time waste nor an argument.
I come on these boards and find topics I might never otherwise consider.
I quickly learn that my half-assed original reaction is often under-informed (big surprise, right?).
I find people like Greg who, even though I often disagree, are eloquent enough to explain his side...which allows me to consider both sides of an argument I might have never heard before.
The news does a terrible job at being objective, but a few hours on a message board with people who have differing opinions is...illuminating.
I dunno -- I think it's fun and makes me a better person for really investigating how I feel about a topic.
And people like Herrjr, Julius, Italia, and Stanced make sure you really mean what you say because they'll pick you apart if you're not careful.
