I just picked up a mint '08 stock exhaust to get rid of the crap backyard exhaust the PO put on the car I just bought.
So my question, how much louder is it over stock? I saw the videos but it's really hard to tell still. Can anyone give me their best estimate how much louder it is over stock? Like, 10% louder, 25% louder, 50% louder?! The car has FI so I need to keep it real quiet to not attract the cops.
Muffler shops charging $100 to install two pipes and spending more than a hr to do it is ridiculous.

I paid less than $100 at the place above.
As far as noise level I can hardly tell from the inside. But when I drive by a building or a wall it's slightly louder with a deeper tone. On a cold start you can hear it.

Btw, do they do a good job on the mod?
