Oh crap, I think I get it now... She drove down the toll road and decided it was the wrong way so turned around and drove the other direction?

She went past the toll booth then tried to turn around at an onramp.

I think the news said that she did stop and ask for direction to a place, but I think she turn the wrong way since then...

but still, she drove quite a while to at least figure out that she's not on crack

I wonder if old age had anything to do with it?

Saw a "Possible fatality" blip on sigalert yesterday for this... guess it's worse than I thought. I drive this route allllllllllllllllll the time and I still have no clue how this person drove the wrong way.... it's not like there's a wimpy divider between the opposing sides of the toll road... it's a freaking sloping hill/chasm/somethingobvious for a divider.

Maybe this crazy person took one of those small paths for patrol cars thinking it was an offramp to a "normal" road and turned right after looking both ways?

I think the driver was initially going the correct way then got turned around. Maybe at a toll? Maybe she spun out then got twisted?

It's hard to fathom, but stuff like this happens. Too bad.

This is a perfect example of paying complete attention while on the road. It's why I never talk on my cell while driving. Bad habit and bad sh!t happens.

...but to turn around on the 241 is nearly impossible unless she was really distracted. Hmm...vibrating device, maybe?
