FromS2k... It has nothing to do with people not want to share interests and meeting other people. What it comes down to is reputation an area has. Because Regal is close to the Simi Valley police station, the cops have a tendency to stay around the area and harass people and give tickets, pop hoods, etc. I know this for a fact, because my next door neighbor used to be the chief of police of Simi Valley.
S2K owners tend to be more mellow, mature, and don't like to draw attention to themselves or their cars. That's the reason they don't like to congregate in areas where we get grouped with the (ricers).
I applaud your efforts in trying to get a meet going,
as I said I tried getting something going last year. We are just letting you know what you should do to get a good meet going. I would help you get it going if I still lived in Moorpark, but I am down in San Diego now.
But if you get something going, and I am in LA, I will be 100% down to attend.
