Default Transition Tint

You know the same tint for your eye glasses that get dark in the sun and light in the shade or night? That would be awesome.

I stopped by a place for tint yesterday, wondered the same thing. It doesn't seem that difficult, I mean after all cheap sunglasses have it, why not tint? One thing I did consider as an issue is that the tint is too thin for it to work, sunglasses are thick and thus if the chemicals are applied to a 1mm thick material it may be enough to have a big effect where as with tint being so thin it's not a possibility. However, if that is the case it could still be done from the factory when the glass is made could it not?

Just some thoughts.

1st page of google only has the same question posted by other forums.

The only problem I see w/ this is that if you are you know... at night, then the tint wont help.
