Track Event: Dec 2 @ Buttonwillow
Hey Folks,
Just thought I'd share some information on an upcoming track event at Buttonwillow. The date is Sunday, Dec. 2, and the event is being sponsored by SpeedTrials, USA. The best part is the price: $90 for weekend event! The website for more information is:

Hopefully, I'll see a few of you out there (jzr? calc? navnurs?)

I'll be at that event... though I probably wont be taking my S2000. I'm going to be helping to shake down a friend's WRX that we're going to run in next years "One Lap"

Hmmmm...I should have my new exhaust by then, but another track day would be about the end of my poor S-02s. Guess I'll have to let the numbers on my bonus check due next week dictate...

Hey Brian,
Let's go to the practice on the 24th. I'm a little wary about running the 225/245 Kumhos with the factory sway bars, especially at a high-speed track.
I'd also recommend you get a few more autocross laps under your belt before Buttonwillow. Spinning in the parking lot is usually pretty safe, but spinning at 100mph on a big track can be really dangerous, not to mention costly.

Same word of caution for you here. Buttonwillow's track is surrounded by gnarly dirt. I always have visions of going off sideways and flipping. Oh well, better than walls...
