Which is why I never understood the change. (I understand the Angels Owners trying to sell more merchandise and expanding their market audience).

Dodger fans don't like it. Angels fans don't like it. Why do it?
its just that MARKETING! Sale more hats t-shirts etc. They were even going to have a parade down Alvaro St if they won the series ! Moreno and Villaraigosa had planned for that.

Thats prolly why he changed it to 24 a while ago, so Jordan could be 23 and he would be 24, so hell prolly keep 24. He knew what he was doing and did it well in advance so people dont suspect anything :-)

I'm a huge Lakers and Kobe fan and even I hope he goes somewhere where he has a chance at the tilte. I hate to see such talent (GOAT IMHO, and yes I'm over 15yrs old and remember all the greats) wasted on this excuse of a Lakers Team.

It really is a raw deal because it doesnt matter how great you are, you have to be surrounded by a high level of talent just to win one championship, let alone multiple championships. So if Kobe were to never get another ring, I think it would severely tarnish his career (simply due to the bad breakup the Lakers had and the fact that Shaq was arguably the best player on those 3 title teams, then shaq went on to win a ring after the breakup) Kobe desperately needs another ring otherwise his career may be remembered as a really really good career but not a GREAT/LEGENDARY one.

Parking - $20

Hot Dog - $10

Beer - $13

Overpaying just to see Torre manage Dodgers - Priceless!

That's why I would love to see him play in Chicago too! With the East being the weaker conference the 2nd round is practially guarenteed. Although, I can't wait to see Boston this year.

Opps...now back to your regularly scheduled Dodgers thread.
