As a Yankee fan, my team is up for big changes this coming year, Torre is a loss, A-Rod I can live without(if the Yankees buy some pitching with the money) and Don will be missed.

Does the entire Dodger organization even make 300+mil over a 7-10 year span?!?!?!? lolol Torre would be a bigger difference-maker than A-rod IMO, even though a-rod would hit quite a few homeruns and be more pleasing to the fans.

I am as well. I think I am the only one who actually thinks Torre leaving could be a good thing for both parties. Yes I appreciate what he did all those years, the 4 titles and being in the playoffs every year. However, it could be time for some new blood (i.e Girardi) When I saw what Girardi did with that sorry bunch of players he had in Florida I wanted him to be the manager of the Yankees two years ago. As good as Torre is, I think we need some younger blood/a fresh start. As far as A-rod is concerned, everyone talks about why he wants to leave but never mentions this; A-rod had to move from his natural position and give away gold gloves every year to try and win a title, that makes him more unhappy than the fans/media/contract. Also, if you look at the 4 titles the yankees won, they did it with pitching and timely hitting (singles and doubles) Rather than just all out homeruns. Oneill, Martinez, Brosius, Williams, Jeter, Posada, Knoblach etc--those are the types of lineups that win championships, not a bunch of players who just sit back and look to hit a homerun every single at-bat.

see Phil even as a Yankee fan you want him GONE! How would you feel if he went to say um BOSTON?

Watch them keep Lowell and put A-Rod back at short. Think of that line up! Manny, Ortiz, A-Rod Lowell, Drew
