The Meteor shower did show up and it was a nice light show. I sat in the hot tub and counted over 20 before I stopped counting. That was in a 45 minute period between 3:30 and 4:15.

Wendy... Yeah, it was pretty good last night! We saw lots of shooting stars from
the top of Turtle Rock (in Irvine). Even without shooting stars, it was
a nice time--chilling with friends and drinking hot cocoa and tea while
staring at the sky.
