Any times or place set yet for this meet? I will be in SD on or around the 6th of October...any weekend meet would be great...can't wait to see all the other S2k's!!

hey everyone well lets see i have a problem i dont knoe wether to get my s2000 this coming week it would be a 2k1 or wait for the 2k2 what do you guys think. oh yeah im from san diego,ca too so if u guys meet together just name a date and time regardless of decision id like to see other s2000.(im personally leaning to 2k1 cause of silverstone metallic but are the improvements on 2k2 better or worth it?) help please i currently drive a lincoln navigator and im bored yeah i pik up chiks but its jsut not fun to drive anymore so i want a roadster with ballz!!!!!so thanks for any help good bye

krazydave, I'm not even sure what the differences are. All I know is I wasn't willing to wait for the 2002--I wanted my s2k NOW!

I'd be very reluctant to advise you even if I did have an opinion. Do what you're comfortable with--you certainly wouldn't regret waiting for the later model, but whether you would regret being without an s2k for that length of time and perhaps having to pay a little more is another question.

I think it would all depend on whether you like the plastic window or the glass window better.. I personally would wait for glass since I'm likely to switch to it when I can. I saw the color swatches at the honda dealer and the Sebring silver looks almost identical to the Silverstone that was outside, but it kind of reminds me like the silver that was on the Civic a few years ago.

Hey I know what the changes are to the 2002 s2's.
I bought a motor trend magazine, And it says that there are
minor front fascia changes, upgraded sound system,slicker
shifting 6 speed gear box, glass rear window with defroster
element, and numerous interior tweaks. But the engine stays
the same.
