Are there any s2000 clubs in S.D.
Hey I was just woundering if there where any clubs or meets
in San Diego. I am from Oside and want to no if there is anyone
out there with an s2000. I have seen a couple in my town
there is one guy in carlsbad with an S2 that always honks when
he see's mine. And there is another guy in Oside with a black
S2 that I see once and a while. A friend of mine at work
said he saw a bunch of S2's at the Albertsons parking lot
about two months ago off of the 76 hwy. "Any one know what's
up" I want to go to a meet.

I just did a quick advanced search on the members list for those residing in SD. Nearly 30 showed up and about 20 appear to be somewhat active on the boards. This # only covers those listed under san diego, so there are probably many more out there. Is there anyone out there that would like to unify us?

I would love to be in a club only for S2000's, if you happen to find one, let me know. I am so glad I didn't buy a IS 300, I went home to SD this weekend and saw like 10 IS's all over the place...and guess what, I didn't see a single S2000..I think the IS 300 is the new "Civic" on the block... well get back to me..would really like to learn how to drive my car to it's potential...

It wouldn't be that difficult to do a search by San Diego ZIP codes (920 & 921, I believe), then send out a PM or e-mail to see who's interested. I'm been thinking about doing this, but just haven't found time lately. Also, my motivation was somewhat dampened by a couple of earlier, unsuccessful attempts to get people together for lunch or dinner. If they can't even find time to meet briefly for lunch, how can we expect to develop an active club?
Let's see how many respond to this thread.

Hey, count me in also..Well Calc, if you ever want to meet for lunch, I'll be glad to meet any member with an S2000 in SD to start up a club..I will be in Sd on the first week of October, so anytime after that if you could organize a meeting of a few of us owners, that would be awesome. I'll be watching this thread also...

Okay, between now and the 1st of October I will try to contact SD owners individually and see who's sincerely interested. Maybe we could actually have a get-together in October! In the meantime, continue to monitor this thread.
