for me its cuz of the yearly bonus i get. ends up not matchin my yearly income. now that i think about it, even if i pay, still plus if i were to compare the amount i get for bonus.

You pay one way or another if you are doing it legally. If you had to pay and didnt "get any money back" would you like to have paid more just so you could get money back later haha?

I ended up owing because I'm claiming a 1 on my witholdings AND i crossed over to a higher tax bracket last year.

Claiming zero this year.
