I carry T-Mobile in my store and same with Verizon. Let's put it this way, T-Mobile's strength is their plans and prices. Verizon is top notch for their reception. I get more T-Mobile returns than Verizon- almost 2-3 times more (I wonder why).

I switched to TMobile from AT&T Wireless. I had been w/ ATTW for a while, but had many bad experiences with them over the past year, so switched once my contract was up. I've been quite happy w/ the TMo service for the past month I've had it now. I also got the TMobile Hotspot thing, so I can use the wireless network connection at Starbucks/Borders/etc. That's quite handy as well

if you're considering getting a TMo phone/service go into a corporate owned store and ask them to perform a Personal Coverage Check for you. it will give you a good idea what the reception is like.

also, there is a 14-day return policy that lets you bring it back incase it doesn't serve your needs.

also, JD Power just recently named TMo #1 in customer service and overall customer satisfaction. FYI, Verizon was ranked #2.
if you want to compare reception, Verizon is #1 but a close #2 is TMo.
a reason why the reception is a little better with Verizon is due to the fact that they use CDMA technology/network.

FYI, if you did a better job at surveying your customers they wouldn't be returning phones as often.
I can't speak for other companies but TMo has several tools in place for you to use to show customers exactly what they're getting. if the tools are used customers generally don't bring the phones back. if you show them the value/phones/service they are getting and set the expectations from the begining they will have a better understanding of everything and those same customers will continue to stay with the service.

TMo service isn't going to work for everyone so in the end it's your job as a dealer to sell the customer a service that meets their needs. if they don't, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I had T Mobile and switched to Verizon because the coverage was not good in my area. I did call the T Mobile people several times to correct it and they tried... it didn't help much.
