i still don't understand how they don't have to release a production version.

what makes me more confused is how a 20 year old RX7 is doing so well against its competition.

these cars are the equivalent to NASCAR. theyre just shells, rollcages, engines and drive train. power and min weight is tweaked case by case, and from race to race to provide some of the most artificial competitive racing, to be honest. its all for the spectacle, but that makes for a really fun and exciting race as a spectator.
