that is pretty lame. it pisses me off when people talk about how depressed they are and they dont want to live. is it bad that i am not sympethetic to those people at all? i guess i just hate quitters. this guy prob was prob ashamed that he couldnt fix the situation. it is a pretty crappy situation to lose something like a house. not something that i would kill myself over.. but i always like to think that i can get myself out of a bad situation if i need to. things always work out when u want em to.

There was a movie with Tom Cruise in it that had this same concept. I think it was called Minority Report. So the idea is not new to me. But to answer your question, i think it depends on what culture you are accustomed to. I know in old world Japan, suicide was honorable in the correct circumstances. Don't know anything about the person, but I dont think any insurance company should pay out suicide no matter what.

Unfortunately, we all think differently. Case in point: He's dead and we are alive. He killed himself over debt and other people simply bite the bullet, lose everything, collect the pieces and move on.

I wouldn't kill myself. I used to pay $26,000+ in mortgages and really thought I got in way over my head. I thought I wouldn't make it work and finally, after working really hard at it and making huge sacrifices, I found solutions and sold all the properties I didn't need. Needless to say that I kept a perfect credit score and enjoyed the extra money afterward.

I learned that no matter how bad your problems are, you WILL find a solution. Even if you do fall, you can always get back up. It's that simple.

???, i hope you 're joking because you know NOTHING about them. Even if you were, it's not funny.

Either way, lives are worth more than ANY amount of money.

It may not last their entire lives but depending on how much they spend, they can make it go a long way.

Sorry but that guy was a moron IMO.

I would much rather be living in a shithole or in the streets with my brother, mother and father than lose one of them to suicide but live in a home.

Money can ALWAYS be made... PERIOD.
