Stores stocking USED ROOMBA Vacuums
Interesting info....
Just went to Target to get a Roomba......
On the way my girl tells me a story about her co-worker that wen't to bed/bath&beyond and bought one which was used...she returned it and opened another IN the store and it was used to THEN the 3rd one was finally ok so she bought it and took it home.
So THEN we buy ours today...and yep it's used so I return it after walking outside in the parking lot seeing the seal is broken (carpet chunks in it and all). Then the next one the seal is good so I buy it but I just got it home and.....used again, carpet...and the bin even full of someone's crap, time to return it tomorrow.
Anyone else experiencing this?

IDK.... we had one...honestly it's had INSANE problems.
I mean...right from the get go it wouldn't find it's home to charge. It's sound effects stopped after week 1. It's side cleaning brush got clogged and jammed causing it to get stuck in the middle of the room often. The remote would only send the schedual programming on certain days..... some days you just couldn't get it to recieve the signal.
After all that I gave em benefit of the doubt and figured the 5 series models like the 560 would be better then the "pet" edition 430 we had.
Looks like ROOMBA SUCKS BALLS still.... pitty.
Who is to blame here....Roomba or the stores reselling the used ones? I'd blame the stores but I would think if the product wasn't so flawed it wouldn't be an issue. For $400 dollars I'm just not sure they're anywhere near worth it

roombas are kool if u never do anything, and don t have any pets. its not a big cleaner, just ok for in between maintenance.
no worth it IMO
But why are the stores selling used ones? people returning them prolly and saying they never used it, and ur $7 an hour cust service rep doesnt even open the box to check it. thats prolly what keeps happening.
but then we are back to a ton of ppl returning them...
just get a Dyson and enjoy burning some calories.

^ or you THOUGHT they were new.
I did get a used/return fan from Costco once. Good thing they have a great return policy. The lifetime return policy STILL applies to Roombas. It is worth it since I hear there are issues now and then with them. I haven't had a problem with mine yet, have had it for over 6 months.
I love my Roomba also.
