I'm pretty sure that there are people here who invest in stocks.
I need some advice. I started playing the stock market for a couple of months now. Until recently I have some extra cash to throw around in the Stock Market.
Anyone know if it is a good idea to invest in MERRILL LYNCH & CO INC, and other companies such as these. Lets say I have 5-10g's to play with.

My portfolio sorta looks like this:

AIG AIG
AAPL Apple
BA Boeing
BAC Bank of America
LOGI Logitech
SNE Sony
DELL Dell
MER Merrill Lynch
BIO Bio-Rad Labs
PFE Pfizer
RTN Raytheon
LMT Lockeed Martin
CITIC Cell Therapeutic Inc.
SCON Superconductor Technologies, Inc.
WAMUQ Washington Mutual
