Was just about to ask how you did it. The valve cover does look noticeably cleaner. How long did it take and can you describe what you did step by step?

It took be about an 1.5 hours. I did my top with 303 too. Man that stuff is good. First I steamed the valvecover to get the non-caked on stuff off. Then I used some soap water, and after some solvent. Then steamed again to get the chemicals and soap off and Done. Maybe i ll do the rest of the engine over the weekend.

A lot of scrubbing involved or did the solvent just pick it up pretty easily?

nice! I can tell the valve cover is noticeably brighter! What brands did you use?

Good goin', Theod. I did mine about 6 weeks ago, but with all this wind and dust in the desert......I can't tell anymore. *sigh*
