Default starter kill question

which color coded wires should i be looking at to remove the starter killer? took all the stuff out with my aftermarket alarm but car won't start and it's coming down to the starter kill which i can't figure out since i reconnected all the wires with their matching colors.

Hmm did you cut all the old alarm wires? Were the wires from the alarm, sodded or t-tappped?

Usually they tap the, black negative wire under your steering wheel. There should be an extension or dummy wire around it.

all of the wires were t-tapped and the ignitions wires weren't cut but spliced into. I removed a total of 4 relays.

The starter kill requires a complete cut, it's not going to work otherwise. I used the black/white wire in the driver's kickpanel. It chils in a blue bracket plug close to the firewall. It's the only very thick wire in the plug. That relay used both ends of this cable, a constant positive wire and a 'ground when armed from the alarm brain'. You need to reconnect the starter cable.

i figured it out and it's actually the clutch bypass that was messing me up. I found a yellow plug and it has a wire that was recirculating the current through it to bypass the clutch. I plug it back in and everything's working now.

Does the OEM alarm have a starter kill as i found out that not only does my car have the oem alarm but also the aftermarket ( which i took out). I left the oem alarm intact cause it was neatly and nicely put in place with all the oem plugs and such.

I didn't have an OEM alarm. It easy to try, get inside, arm it and try to start the car. The alarm will go off and the car won't start

I found a local place that sells the key fob for the car so imma buy it first and try to see if the oem alarm still runs. Thanks alot for all the Q&A.

Glad you got it fixed. I had a similar experience with my 93 Accord. The Honda dealer put in an aftermarket alarm but did a horrible job. Just last year it would not let me start the car.
