Default Speeding ticket help

I just got a speeding ticket in walnut. I was driving down la puente rd with no cars coming in any directions. As I passed by a church a cop pops out and pulls me over. I just have a couple of questions.

1. Are cops allowed to park In private proterty such as a church?

2. Is this ticket worth fighting? No cars were in the area. I'm very familiar with the area. I know I shouldn't have been speeding but it was down hill and I was very tired. I'm a poor college student who cannot afford a ticket like this.

All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

I know that spot very well! the cops stay in that parking lot all the time ! It's nice and dark and he can get cars going both ways!

sorry about your ticket but the Walnut sheriffs have nothing else to do but give out tickets! Walnut has very little crime!

You'll see them camp there quite often, as stated above, walnut sheriffs dont do much but speeding and modified tickets, just get as many extensions as you can, and try to fight it written or in court. I'm still fighting mine with written declaration for the one I got in June.

These tickets vary from city to city, county to county....... Best bet is wait a week or 2 for the ticket to process. Go down to the court house on the ticket and see the clerk

Or save your time and just go to the website:

I got two speeding tickets, both within a week of my birthday, I requested an extension on hoping the cop doesn't show! If he does, then I'll hopefully have enough money then to take care of it.
