Fight it!

Request an extension, then do a trial by declaration. Gluck!

Should I fight the ticket if I have proof that there are no signs posting the speed limit or?
If there are no speed limit signs posted, the speed limit is 35.

Were you going 56?

Actually I did too.... and he was on private property which he lied about. Right by my house I got popped for 49mph in a 40 zone.....that was actually 45mph zone. So basically I got a ticket for 4mph over.

Even when he pulled me over hes like ahh you didn't even see where I came from huh?

I was like..... nooooope

Useless pigs.

Trial by written declaration first!!! if you lose that one you can still appear in court to either fight it again in person or take traffic school... but if you decide to fight it in person then you forfeit your right to go to traffic school. good luck!
ya hes correct. if you fight it u lose the opportunity to take traffic school. You can prolly show proof and stuff but if you live in that area and drive down that street often then the judge wont give you an excuse for not knowing the speed limit. If you live elsewhere then you have a chance. do the written first then decide what to do after..

isn't it, get an extension then get a trial by declaration and if they deny the trial by declaration then u can show up at court to ask for traffic school if u don't want to fight it anymore?

regarding the cop being on private properties, i been hanging around in fullerton alot lately and i noticed the cops are always parking on someone's driveway at the top of the hill and once you pass by them. They pull out and ticket you. I mean is this legal? Being on someone's property and concealing themselves?

ya your right i think it extension then trial by dec... and then show up to court to get traffic school if you dont want to fight it...

Theres a catch though, it depends on the judge's decision. Its not guaranteed.

Im not sure about the private properties part, but dont quote me on this but technically if you are at fault and you and the cop are visible then the cop isnt concealing himself.

Its only in the case of him on the driveway and he only sees you right when you pass by in front of him and not from a distance away that he sees you speeding, then thats concealing himself as a trap. i think... im not sure if thats right i forgot this stuff i read b4..

can anyone chime in on this?
