You've got enough damage that you really should file an accident report. I forget the limit these days, $1500? Over that and your license is at risk by not filing a report. Years ago my Ins agent didn't file when they said they did, DMV mailed me a "thank you but you have no license now" statement (other party must have also filed), in the end DMV accepted my agent's word that I did report through them and restored my license.

FYI - if you had a headache, soreness, or any discomfort, that by definition of insurance companies is an INJURY.
if you need a good personal injury/liability/accident attorney in Southern California PM me, i know a few good offices...
attorney wont charge if they don't win

OP, don't contribute to the already overly litigious environment we live in today. If you're legitimately hurt, go see a doctor (a REAL doctor, like a GP or even a musculoskeletal specialist, not a chiropractor). If you're not hurt, don't be a leech.

I got rear ended and Im not even gettin any money out of it.
Just breaking even.
Tho I am getting an AP1 rear instead of an AP2. Im happy

I got rear ended about 13 months ago chilling at a red light... Friken SUV backdoor plowed me hard... Rear quarter panels, trunk were all messed and even got some sub frame damage... Around 13k in damages, car was in teh shop for about 6 weeks... But at least I got drive bunch of rentals haha

just messed mine up too.
only had it for 3 weeks.
was up in the mountains and a deer ran out in the road and i swerved into a ditch. lol
my front bumper, front lip, and rear bumper got messed up.
i know what you mean about it not feeling the same after you get it back.
i know it can be fixed its just a mental thing. lol
