[QUOTE=chairmnofthboard,Mar 29 2006, 12:09 PM]heres how I look at it. Yes, it is kinda a civic.
first there was the CRX SI with a full glass top in Japan, Honda stopped making the CRX and made the DEL SLOW with a targa, then after that came the S2000 convertible.
I "THINK" that Honda evolved the S2000 from

First off ....... fellas!!!!
THis guy msgd me on Myspace .... says nice Civic man!!! Thats a hawt car .... blah blah blah blah ......
so am think'n, wtf? Is this guy outta his mind? So, I msgd him back saying its a s2ooo and not a civic, or a delsol with sum ricey conversion.
Then he replied with that.
Now am thinking that this guy is jus 2 young. Then I msgd him back 2 try to educate him about the S2ooo saying that s2ooo is a roadster, it doesn't use the same parts as a civic that can be swapped back and forth with a del sol.
What u guys think?? Is a s2ooo a civic s2ooo??? I know that a s2ooo aint no "civic s2ooo."
I jus wanna this guy.

I was once stopped in heavy traffic in SD and a guy in a minivan behind me says, very audibly, "Hey, it's a Honda!"
Well, he was driving a minivan, can't expect too much.

I "THINK" that Honda evolved the S2000 from the CRX that was based on a civic.
but WE evolved also, and are superior to our ancestors. (with the exception of natural selection)
Evolution, a part of life

Where the heck did this logic come from?
The "S" has been around long before the civic. As in S500, S800.....and now S2000.
S500:
S800:
The S2000 is not a Civic.
The S2000 is not a CRX SI
The S2000 is not a Del Sol
Stop making fun of my Ferrari.....I mean Honda....

think of it, one get discontinued (crx) and one take's it place (del sol), and again (S2000).
Like if tomorrow the S2000 gets discontinued and a X2500 (as example) was to take it's place, not the same car, but did replace it in the line up.
Or not, I shouldn't have said anything, now people will start calling my S2000 a crx
Just saying, that's all.

edit: I drove a civic for 2 years, so there's nothing against them. I love my old civic. But my S2 is not a damn civic.
