Softop removal
What's up guys
Like always socal seems to be an expert on everything when it comes to DIY so I need help
I'm about to remove my softop and it's going to be my first time hope you guys can give me any tips
Oh I have read the DIY thread and I was just curious you guys might be able to give me some do's and don't

thats about it, start with the seats and work your way back.... everything needs to come off. there are some bolts in the trunk that you need to remove.
Also when you about to remove the top there are 2 clips holding the soft top near the doors. dont forget those.

Gluing em back together isn't too hard though at least.

I recall the panels behind the seats, and then down the sides where the softop motors were. Then I pulled the panel underneath the softop where it's held when in the down position.
I just kept pulling till it was loose.
The rubber pieces and all that are on the side can mostly all stay in place as is, don't waste your time taking the actual soft top apart any.

do not remove anything with rivets.. theyre talking about the rain gutter. its better to remove the hardtop as 1 peice.
