Those are pretty cool. I couldn't find any local dealer on their website. Where are you planning to get yours from?

I just added a Sinn U1 to my collection.

To the OP - if you don't mind a used watch, you can keep an eye on the Timezone forum Sales corner for some good deals. http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...eadt&frm_id=32
in newport there is a reputable watch shop called "the watch connection" on lido island. they can get some off/low number watches.

Im into the Panerai's these days.. limited production, go up in value, and big. 44's fit my wrist, someone buy me one please. thanks

What model is this one?

I wish I had bigger wrists and forearms to rock such a big watch.
that is alagator.... I looked at the Breitlings, but they are not that limited in production and easy to get imo. They look killer, but I went to the watch shop and every employee there had one on and it actually turned me off to them.

Nice!

For my next one I was thinking of going something totally different from the ones I have now.

Different make, shape, size, color, band, etc.
I never really liked cartier, but this one I like a lot. very nice.

I think you guys missed some important details from the OP.

So do we have a large watch crew in SoCal? Post pics of watches everyone has or wants!! I am currently in the market for a nice watch (nice doesnt have to mean expensive). I have always wanted to get a nice one and build a collection. what do you guys recommend for around for <1000 as a beginners watch? hello.gif ibimcheap LoL
*Nice watch (doesn't have to be expensive)
*for about $1000

Lot's of nice pieces, just find something that fits your personality.

I'm simple and like the more basic stuff.
*movado
*rolex
*omega (favorites)
*tag
*Swiss

Pretty much nice simple watches. Maybe start used to save some money.

I friend did a $1600 job for a store that sold rolex, they asked him if we wanted to trade, he said sure and picked out a rolex. He asked me "is this worth $1600" lol. I guess there's a lot of mark up in Rolex.

I've purchased from Watch Connection. They're on Bristol south of the 405 freeway. ...not on Lido. www.watchconnection.com

Another place I like is About Time in Dana Point. www.abouttime.com

There are so many great watches on the market now. I'm considering Bell & Ross and Panerai.

Unless it's a hard-to-find watch, there is no reason to buy in-state.

Sales tax is killer.

I'm thinking about getting an Anonimo Watch. ...anybody else have one?

Steve, the owner of About Time in Dana Point REALLY know his watches.
He will hook you up!! ...tell him Mike, Doctor Dan's friend sent you and you won't believe the discount!!
