Default Socal Body Shop Recommendations

I am looking for an excellent body shop in the OC/LA area to do repair work for the s2k which has front end damage. I am going through insurance. I have searched the threads and have compiled a list of body shops that have positive feedback from members on here.

1. Marco's auto body
2. San Pedro auto body
3. P.J. Bonifacio
4. Spectrum collision
5. Honda world body shop (anyone know the name/contact info? An old post from pierceman revealed the name phil lee).

My question is, what do you guys recommend? and which one is most friendly towards/for "non-aftermarket" parts?

Any thoughts on A1 auto body in huntington beach? It's quite popular with some of the bmw guys, not sure how it is on here or if anyone's heard of 'em.

Other recommendations besides the one listed above is welcome.

One that has better work than most on your list, and that WILL work with aftermarket parts is BackYard Creations.

www.backyard-autobody.com and contact them. Ask for Joe, and let him know Fred from TOPDOWN referred you He's taken care of several friends cars, and we had and have cars with him

how is he with collision repairs? I thought his shop was more of a paint/modification shop rather than a collision repair shop.

Before he used to be a one off and aftermarket type of shop, but with this location he does a huge amount of collision. Frame machines and everything. One of the project cars in our group is getting his beater's frame straightened He's done 2 other minor accident ones, and one of my other friends front end hit and run All came out great. Give him a call, and let him know I sent you. He's extremely cool and easy to deal with. If he cannot meet your needs, you can take your car somewhere else, without any problems from him.

Give Deluxe Auto Body a chance. My Father in-law owns it. He has been doing quality work for over 30 years. He is an ICAR certified shop and works with all insurance companies. He can send a flatbed to pick up your car. Here is the address and an s2000 he did.

21417 Ingomar St Unit 1, Canoga Park, CA‎ - (818) 703-9363‎
