You can't get a CWP here unless you are politically connected - and then it's nearly impossible.

I was thinking the same thing. There are mean, messed up people out
there. If it wasn't you, it would have been someone else; those guys
just have hate in their hearts. I'm glad you didn't have a rock
in your car. If you respond negatively to them, you're just giving them
more excuse to continue with their negative attitude and behavior.
I know that responding in a positive manner to negative behavior is
uber hard, but it's a great way to defuse people. Instead of flipping
them off, give them a peace sign. Maybe it made you feel better to
say "Fxxx you!", but how do you think they're going to treat the next
Asian guy they come across? Better than today? Worse?

You referred to them as "two white males" (not "two males"). I wish
you wouldn't consider that a salient detail... (I'm a white male).
As I said, there are mean, messed up people out there, regardless
of their race. Don't think that, "oh it's easy for you to say, you're
white--you don't get discriminated against". I lived in Japan for 3
years, and Japan is NOT a melting pot--I stood out like a sore thumb,
and some Japanese people did NOT appreciate my presence in
THEIR country. The ones that did, I befriended. The rest,
I don't really give a crap about.

I think it sucks that they would say something so thoughtless, but
as you drove away, and as they drove away, who was driving
the better car??

 

I can tell you guys im the type of person who would rarely yell back and flip people off. I don't even honk when people cut me off. But this is the first time something like this has happened. A hundred things raced through my head as they drove by and im glad at least i chose something verbal instead of violence. At the same moment im thinking, am i going to let them yell out racial slurs and turn my back and show them that asian people can't even stand up for themselves? I know turning your back always shows that you are the better man, but sometimes you need to get your hands dirty. Do you guys really think if those same guys said the N word to a African American that they are going to brush it off their shoulders? I think not, those guys would've been beaten to a bloody pulp. So at least the N word is widely known as a very negative word and should be avoided at all cost. I don't want people to get the impressions that Asians are people that have no honor and can't stand up for themselves.

 

same thing happened to me and my dad after 911. a truck full of white guys pulled up told us to roll our windows down they said fawk u gooks. then speed off, lol we just laughed and waved at them. iono where the hell those guys came from cause rowland filled with asians.
