If i was me i'd keep it. Its freaking toyota it can run 300k miles well maintained...unless your planning to sell the car later then might as well sell it now and get the honda fit that's what i think.

yea, my origional thinking was to drive it at least 200k. I've never driven one car from 0 to 100k so if I keep it I will have to get 200k. Can they really go up to 300k with good maintenance and no accident?

Do you plan on selling it in 3 years? If you plan on keeping it for a while go ahead and rack up the miles.
If the car have no big problem then I will differently keep it for more than 3 years. It should be easy for me to sell the IS350 now cuz there are almost no IS350 in the deal lot.

last night i went to test drive a fit MT and I do not like it. Maybe it was the price that through me off. They had a used one with 1000 miles and asking 17900!!!!! My co-worker got one with everything for 16200 otd so...... I thought i can get a fit for around 14k or something.

I test drove a AT a while back but I can't remember how it feel. Probably need to test drive again. I guess what you get is what you pay for. The quality is really not there. I know I objective is not about the luxury, but I guess I got spoiled after driving lexus...

estukaye, you are welcome to check out my car. Let me know so we'll meet up.

I would sell the IS350. Not known to have the best resale value for whatever reason. Compounding that problem would be high mileage. I would sell the IS and get something cheap like a Fit. It makes more sense as no matter what you drive, the fact that you drive that much will highly adversely effect resale.
very good point. I will take highly into consideration. If I can get a good price now on my IS I will most likely let it go.

you know, if you're serious about saving money, you might want to consider getting a new to you Civic (ok, fine, used Civic). Or if you want a bit of luxury (and I stress a bit), used Accord. I bet you can get an accord with leather that's cheaper than a new Fit....
