The stock shift knob feels fine for most people.
For me it's a little on the tall end.
Luckily I'm running the shorter CR shift knob.
A lot of people like to run the round countersunk knobs on the S

That's a decent price. I wouldn't spend more than $20 on an OEM knob.
The leather is nice for the hot Socal days. The only con is that it's not countersunk and not heavy (my preference). Other than that, it serves its purpose and fits in the hand nicely.
You should checkout some countersunk stainless knobs for a few $$ more from moddiction (heaviest), skunk2, heeltoe CS Teardrop.

I just got the Heel Toe countersunk Maven knob. Man feels a lot better than my old Ap1 knob. The Maven knob is heavier too, very comfortable and has a good fit.

Hmmm. I'm thinking of picking one up. How low is it?

If i can just put in my 2 cents.
A heavier knob will shift smoother, but also sloppier; meaning, everything just kinda mushes into gear.
A lighter knob will require more user force, and the action feels rougher or crisper with more resistance.

heavy to a point is good. I think the 1 lbs variety is great! At the same time I don't want to have a grapefruit on my shift lever.
