Shift knob heating up
I've noticed that my shift knob gets really warm after driving the car. Has anyone had a similar experience? Does anyone know if this is normal?

I noticed that happens when I leave my car in
the parking lot for a long time (more than one hour).
What about the stick? Is it warm? Not sure how
warm "really warm" is, but unless it's HOT, I wouldn't
worry.

i wouldnt expect a metal shiftknob to be cool to the touch during the summer regardless if its direct gearbox, cable, or hydrodrallic
not trying to split hairs but an answer would more entertaining than just "it's normal" or "mine is the same"
well, at least for me

good call, that's radiation by the sun and green house effect in car, which is another source/reason why the knob gets hot.
