We're looking at a small meeting of SFV owners on Sunday the 16th. Probably an afternoon thing, with lunch in Malibu or the Palisades (anywhere that's not so fricking hot). Anyone in? Current thoughts go something like this:

Meet at Starbuck's (Topanga & Ventura), have a cuppa & chat then take off thru one of the canyons (topanga or malibu) to get lunch in cooler climes, then drive Sunset to Laurel and back over the hill...

One route down to Malibu I've driven is the Las Virgenes Rd. one. Any route is cool with me.

Great idea about having lunch in Malibu or Palisades. Any places in mind? PM me if you'd like help setting this up.

Topanga Canyon is a good run. Las Virgenes is ok. Kanan is a good drive because it connects to Las Virgenes via Mulholland. And PCH... forget about it! Is there a better road in the world?

I'm 90% in. Sounds great! There are some alternative roads to PCH if you guys want to avoid some traffic. It's a little twistier though

Just remembered that I wont be able to go. I will be at the NOPI show in Atlanta. But my cousin will most likely go. Ill let you know for sure tho. Unless not that many people can go and we can make it on the 23rd of Sep.

Anyone got suggestions for a place to eat? I was thinking it might be kinda fun to cuise sunset and hit Mel's Diner, but paking is a b----... At this point, I'm open for input!
