It's very difficult for an individual to set up a track day by themselves. The expense is somewhat prohibitive, and you have to provide liability insurance which is not only expensive, but difficult to get. On top of all that is the fact that all the good days are already spoken for at the better tracks, so all things considered... SpeedVentures is the place to be! 
(Just make sure you don't get that guy Drew for an instructor... he's reeeeaaallly slow.
