Ive been looking for a daily also, but can't decide between a truck or another car. Im leaning towards a truck so that If I even need to pick stuff up, I don't have to keep borrowing from family member

Hey now, I had a 2002 Nissan SE-R non Spec V as my first car. And to be honest, I can't rag on it at all. Sure it doesn't look the greatest and I got red so I got tired of that real fast, but overall it was a great car to me. Good torque and some fun factor in a cheap "pocket rocket".
I ravaged the thing, learned how to drive manual on it, let several friends learn how to drive manual on it, abused it, had it abused while in college, parked it outside and in several shady areas of the USC area and it let me down only once or twice. Total cost of repairs on it < $1k over the course of 4 years and 75k miles. The repairs were for a common problem for 2002's (first year of the SE-R) which they fixed from 2003 and on.
SE-R was my perfect beater car.

or your can get the early 90's SER, those are the one to get but you'll be hard press to find anything low mileage or haven't been to hell, those are really really lightweight and fun to mod.
the newer one? not so much
