Howso? Yes he was father/sun/holy ghost but in the form of a human being when he came to this earth. He was just as physically human as we are. Eyes, ears, nose, hair, hands, etc etc. He was in the flesh. I wish I had my bible here at work but it states something to the fact that Joseph did not cowardly leave but choose to stay with Mary and raise the baby that would become the Savior.

If by "bible thumping jesus freaks" you mean, "Christians who believe that the Bible is the word of God", you may be correct. It is unfortunate that your tone is one of disparagement. Regardless of your beliefs, I think it's always a good thing to try to understand those around you, rather than despise them for thinking differently from you.

I am okay to same sex marraige, but I have a conflict within myself and I am sure a lot of you will be the same as well.

Question: What would you feel if your child/children are gay/lesbian?

I asked this question myself, and yet my answer conflicts with the first sentence in this post.

I'd be ok with it but then I can see where you are coming from with that question, do you see it as, I failed to raise my child correctly or I did something wrong when raising him or her?

Good for joseph, a man taking care of the responsibility of another mans mistake. He is a stand up guy, but that doesnt erase the fact that an adopted child (and this is all coming from biblical and religious beliefs that i don't believe in, i just quote to aid my view) is disqualified from being a messiah.

Jesus failed to fulfill any of the major messianic prophecies; he was never anointed as King, he never ruled Israel, and the world was certainly not perfected in his time. In addition, he was not preceded by the return of the prophet Elijah . Finally, he was disqualified from ever being a messianic candidate due to his lack of the necessary family background.

Maybe the jews have it right. The Jewish people never rejected Jesus. He just never measured up to the description that God gave to the Jewish people, of who the messiah would be.
