I don't believe in hell or the bibles rules, laws, guidlines or whatever you want to call them. Just be a good person.

this is something your told as a "formable child". this is engrained in ur head. IMO marriage is to express a deeper commitment of love...thats it!!!! love knows no age, gender, race, etc. with all the hate in our current society why should we ever stop two HUMANS from expressing thier love to one another.

i think the bible is like an ancient game of telephone. what was told to one person was told to the next and so on. along the way somethings will be lost in translation and certain views will be injected into those "stories". Im sure it all started out all gravy but was perversed along the way.

I grew up catholic.. so dont flame me.

i bet you wouldnt find too many atheists opposing gay marriage. The anti gay movement was created long ago by people of faith. there really isnt any reason for gays not having the right to marriage except for religous reason, which shouldnt have any effect on state laws.

there are soo many contradictions in every faith. why pick and choose what your going to live by. who are you to judge? stop worrying about others and live the way you feel is right. what others do behind closed doors isnt anyones buisness but their own.

i bet there isnt a person of faith on this board that hasnt had pre maridal sex.... unless your the 40 yr old virgin.
