s2000 reliability

s2000 reliability
I've always wanted an s2000 since da day it came out, but I'm still on a budget. The only s2k's i can afford are the ones w/ 40k plus miles. my question is..how reliable are s2000's. How's the gas mileage. I heard it's a pretty heavy car for such a small car and it's mpg Iis similar to a 350. If anyone can give me an overview of each year id greatly appreciate it.

As far as reliability, MY01 has 82,000 miles and is used as my daily driver, it's a Honda, It's very reliable.

isn't there a write up for an 2000 supercharged s2k? charged for 120k and 160 on the clock, and the motor is still holding up?

No worries, it's reliable as long as it was taken care of. I've got 140k+ mi and no real problems. I blew the diff once, but it was an aftermarket one. My old diff was still good when I took it out @ 120k miles. Just try to find one with a documented history.

IME of 74,000 miles it's been very reliable. Other than a pinhole in the radiator (don't know how that happened) and a wheel bearing, I've had no maintenance issues.
