Default S03's vs T1S tires

I know alot of you here on s2ki run the S03's or S02's. But I had heard that the TOYO T1S tires are a better tire?! Any personal coments or advice? Thanks for the help guys/gals

Kind regards,
Joe

I had S-03s on my '01 S and I HATED them. Sure, they were great in the rain, but crap the rest of the time. S-02s are MUCH stickier, so are my current RE050s..

I had T-1S on my Evo. Most people said that going from A-046 Advans to the Toyos would be like night and day, but I didn't feel that way. The T-1S is at least on par grip-wise with my REs, which obviously makes them better than S-03s.

If I was buying new tires again, my decision would be between RE050s, Michelin PS2s, and the new Falken RT-615s.

I would try out the new RT615's from Falken, or maybe Toyo's new T1R tire.

That's right - I forgot about the T-1R... It's supposed to be as good as the T-1S in the wet and better in the dry...

Also, those Toyos last a long time compared to Bridgestones.

I think both tires are good but when it comes time to change my tires out AGAIN I think I will go with the TOYOs I dont really like the S03's they give out a little to easy. From hearing things in person from people that have tried the T1Rs I must say I have to try them!

I had the Toyo T1S. Liked them but have moved on to the Kumho Ecsta MX. IMO, just as good if not better, yet much less money.
