Unhappy Running a red light ticket

okay, i think i just got caught running a red light and wanted to know what the chances of me getting a ticket is. i know some people get the ticket mailed. but sometimes they dont get it right? what are some of your experiences with running red lights and the flash going off?

my scenario: i was driving on harbor blvd. in fullerton and the traffic was bad as usual. the light started turn red and a truck in front of me ran the red on malvern. and me being stupid followed his ass across the red light and saw the flash go off. i dont think i was that close to him though. so i dont have a front license plate, but of course have a rear. any chance that the flash only caught the guy in front of me and not me? i guess i have to expect the worst and think that i am getting a ticket. but i would just like to know what my chances are of getting off the hook on this.

and i dont usually do this kind of stuff. i drive fairly normal. no reckless stuff. but one of the few times i act dumb, i get caught like this.

You'll get a nice front and rear view picture in the mail of your ride.
I too got caught by the stupid camera.

Murphy is out to get you...

I had one where I was going through but then traffic suddenly
slowed way down, and my car was still going through the intersection
when the light turned red. I saw this scary bright flash, and spent
the next several days sweating the mail truck's arrival. The sweating
eventually reduced to an annoying worry, and then to a vague
concern, and eventually faded into a sneaking hint of wondering..

This was on Newport Blvd north, somewhere around 19th street.

Fingers crossed, dude.

I have also heard this. For some reason I remember hearing that they need to snap a pic of front AND back plates for valid ticket.

Good luck!

i have a quick question, is "running a red" classified as entering an intersection on a red, or is being in an intersection when the light turns red classified as running a red as well?
