Rotors + Pads

On stock pads you WILL be limited by brake fade. Bone stock it's the #1 issue for the S.
CHANGE YOUR PADS and the car is ready to go, the rotors will work fine stock.

Are there any problems swapping oem pads back onto the rotors after running CT pads on the same rotors after an event? I'm talking about this "transfer layer" that CT mentions that the pad compound coats the rotor with some special material. When swapping back in, will this material get scrapped away as you use the OEM brakes? I just wanted to make sure running both set of pads won't pose a problem for each other on the same set of rotors.

I've swapped between oem pads and cobalt spec vr (race pads) for 4 track events.
i am still using the original oem rotors at 113,000 miles.
so it's safe to say that you can do it. just make sure you bed the race pads in properly, heat them up really good as fast as you can...the first lap with hard braking should do the trick.
